Karl Lagerfeld Launching a chain of Hotels

Designer Karl Lagerfeld  hotels added to his resume.

Now he announced plans to pursue his own brand called Karl Lagerfeld Hotels & Resorts. which will include members’ clubs, restaurants, and residential buildings. All under a licensing agreement with Brand mark

He was a man who loves hoteling.

On top of that experience, Lagerfeld is a self-professed lover of hoteling industry. which makes sense considering his intense travel schedule. Lagerfeld was a busy man, after all designing for two major fashion houses  developing a brand based on his beloved cat;

conceptualizing wedding rings, art kits, Diet Coke cans. Magnum Ice Cream commercials.And  now building his own hospitality business. It seems that the designer’s world domination has only just begun.  

Though this may seem like another offbeat venture for the man. who recently launched a  over-the-top engagement rings. the Kaiser has actually dipped his toe into the hospitality and residential pool before. He lent his creative prowess to the Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo in Monaco and the Sofitel. So Singapore in Singapore, and was commissioned to design two suites for the Hôtel de Crillon in Paris.

Brown’s Hotel London.

Lagerfeld prefers to go old-school when he’s in London.staying at the historic Brown’s Hotel, located in Mayfair. Opened in 1837  this traditional high-end building was the city’s first hotel. Aside from the designer  the dwelling has played host to a number of iconic figures  including. Theodore Roosevelt, Agatha Christie, and Napoleon III.

The Mercer.

This is buy because  his favorite place to stay while visiting. New York on business. you may remember seeing snapshots of his Goyard  Located in Soho. The Mercer features a cozy lobby bar and a Jean-Georges-helmed restaurant called The Mercer Kitchen.

Hotel Hassler  Roma.

When the designer is working in Rome, he likes to stay at the Hotel Hassler.  with views of the Spanish Steps, the 93-room of this hotel  has been in business since 1900. On the top floor, there are three luxgurious bed room with a waste balcony like terris.
